• Staying within the Window|Preferences dialog, choose the Java|Installed JREs option and chose Edit
  
  
• Add the external Jars "javaws.jar" and "plugin.jar" from your active installed JRE's lib directory.

• Still within the Window|Preferences dialog, choose the Java|Build Path|Classpath Variables option

• Edit the XUI_SVN_ROOT variable.

• Download and install the Eclipse SQL Explorer∞ plugin, version 3.5.0∞. The installation instructions can be found here∞. Restart the Eclipse with the "-clean" option.
  
  
• Select the project in the Navigator or Package Explorer and press F5 to update the project
  
  
• Wait for the project to build
  
  
• Right click the antbuild.xml file and choose run as ant file to build the plugin zip file (this step is optional)
