Deletions: The first step in installing KalIDEoscope is to download the NetBeans modules from SourceForge∞.
1 Select the KalIDEoscope files on SourceForge ∞
2 Save the file to disk ∞
3 Unzip the downloaded files, extracting the two '.nbm' files to disk.
4 Start NetBeans and choose the Tools | Update Center option ∞
5 Selected the manual install option ∞
6 Click the add button and selected the two downloaded files from step (3) above ∞
7 Proceed with the next step in the installation wizard ∞
8 Accept the license agreement ∞
9 Continue with the wizard, and check the include options for each module. You can also check the global if you want the modules to be available globally, but it is not strictly necessary. ∞ Steps 10-12 are optional
10 Select the Tools | Module Manager ∞
11 Verify that the KalIDEoscope modules is installed (under the GUI option) ∞
12 Verify that the XUI modules is installed (under the libraries option) ∞
13 Now, you should have an option for a XUI project on the File | New Project option ∞ KalIDEoscope is now successfully installed! Note: If you are having difficulty replicating the above it might be worth trying to run Tools | Update Center and updating NetBeans. This step should really be necessary but there have been some updates and variations since the release of NetBeans 5.0 ∞
